The study of “Lebanese Media Coverage of Youth Issues” aims to research how much the Lebanese media cares about Lebanese youth
This study aims at analyzing the Lebanese media status in terms of women participation in producing media content, participation in news making and influencing the public opinion through political talk shows and news bulletins, in various Lebanese TV stations.
The study brings up central questions about the role of the media during the electoral period, especially with regard to their mission in democratic regimes and particularly in shaping the public opinion through providing accurate information and the necessary facts allowing the public opinion to understand its environment and to take the appropriate positions accordingly.
The study raises central questions about the impact and the role of news bulletins introductions in terms of their feasibility, content and format, thus their performance and the concepts they transmit.
Maharat Developed a study on News Coverage of Positive Initiatives by Lebanese Media. The research question relates to the role of media in giving prominence to and encouraging initiatives, projects and activities undertaken by individuals or associations that aim at rejecting violence, discrimination and strengthening civil peace in Lebanon.
