Monitoring of Talk Shows on TV Stations
This study monitors and analyses talk shows to examine what concepts, values, and opinions they promote and to determin their coherenace in relevance to the “Media Ethical Code for Promoting Civil Peace” which was officially launched on June 25, 2013 by “UNDP Peace-Building Project in Lebanon” and was signed by the Lebanese media. This study is made specially because talk shows have occupied an important position in all local TV stations that consider them as a principal tool to attract the audience and view attitudes, opinions and events of the political and social life.
